I am Cassidy Solomon, OTD, OTR, and I joined SongBird as an occupational therapist in 2026. I earned my undergraduate degree in Child Development from Texas Woman’s University and a doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Prior to SongBird, I worked with both pediatric and brain-injured populations.
Children’s main occupation is play, and I am passionate about meeting children where they are to ensure they are able to enjoy play, grow their skills, and explore their independence. I combine knowledge-based techniques, family goals, and children’s strengths to promote children’s progress and independence.
In my free time, I enjoy completing puzzles, crafts, watching movies, exploring restaurants/stores, and spending time with my husband, daughter, two dogs, and cat.
