Hi, I’m Heather Snook, M.S., CCC-SLP, a speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience helping children grow their communication skills across a variety of settings, including hospitals, in-home care, pediatric outpatient rehabilitation, teletherapy, and public schools. I spent 14 wonderful years working with children from birth through age 18 at Our Children’s House at Baylor, and 8 years supporting students in Frisco ISD.
My special interests include Childhood Apraxia of Speech and therapy with a focus on total communication, along with the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I love figuring out how each child communicates best and building therapy around their strengths, interests, and personality.
I started SongBird Pediatric Therapy to create a place where care feels personal, fun, and family-centered. In private practice, we are able to slow down, listen closely, and design therapy that truly fits each child’s needs, pace, and learning style while partnering closely with families every step of the way.
When I’m not in therapy sessions, I’m a busy and proud mom of three active boys. You’ll usually find me with my husband, cheering from the sidelines at sports and band events, serving in the special-needs ministry at my church, or hiking in the mountains with my family whenever we get the chance.
